How Much To Get Your Teeth Done
A full set of teeth veneers to enhance your smile for a completely natural look in a single visit.
Small changes in the shape of individual teeth, the alignment, the colour and 'finish' can make all the difference to your smile, we craft each tooth to ensure a natural and consistent look. For all our customers, the most important thing is that they look natural.
The materials we use are selected to look and feel like original teeth, and we achieve total transformations; some examples below.
Creative Dental Artistry
Creating new smiles like those pictured below, with either composite or porcelain is an art form. Our skilled and experienced dentists, Jamie and Andrew have trained with the best, travelling around the world to study, and we all use the latest digital technology to ensure millimeter precision for that perfect smile.
Example Cases
It is amazing what this new composite bonding material helps us to do.
Composite Bonding Material
One of the truly innovative developments in Cosmetic Dentistry, the new materials make these immediate dental veneers possible to deliver in a single day.
Safe, Painless and Reversible
We want our new patients to know they are in safe hands; this treatment is completely painless and doesn't harm the existing teeth in any way.
With all of our treatments, our philosophy is to preserve the original teeth for as long as possible, and all our composite teeth veneers can be reversed to the original teeth, for peace of mind.
No veneers should be thought as 'forever'.
What is a Full Set of Veneers
Most people would like veneers for visible teeth only and will choose to veneer the top set of teeth, although some will come back for the bottom set too.
We take each case on its merits and if we can achieve great results with mild cases for a couple of teeth, that's what we will recommend. The current smile line will show us how many teeth might need veneers.
Digital Transformation
You can start with a remote consultation, and even send selfies to allow us to see the teeth and begin to give advice.
If you visit us here at the clinic, during the free consultation, the first thing we do is ask you to talk, smile and even laugh while we take photos and sometimes even a short video. We then analyse the resulting images (digital videos can be viewed frame by frame) to determine how many teeth show in these various situations.
Together we will decide what will suit your individual smile and we will be guided by you. Most people choose between 6 and 12 upper teeth, but it can change on a case by case basis. But it is your choice, and we are guided by what you would like to achieve.
Lower Teeth Veneers
The usual question for lower teeth is whether they need veneers at all. It often depends on these type of questions
1) Do the lower teeth show at all (some patients never show their lower teeth)
2) Are they 'in shadow' most of the time?
3) Are they straight or crooked?
For many patients the lowers are much less visible and can often be treated using simple whitening and if they wish to solve crooked lower teeth, then we can use a fast aligner instead to straighten them up in a matter of weeks.
What does a Full Set of Veneers cost?
The cost will depend on the number of teeth you choose, but the usual number for a narrow full set of veneers would be 6, and the most we have done is 12 for broad smiles and we can achieve a lot with a couple of veneers.
More likely, it could be 8 visible teeth, but a free consultation will show us exactly what can be done.
Our veneers cost per tooth is priced £395, and so for a fabulous new smile in a single visit, 6 Veneers it is £2,370 and for 8 Veneers it is £3,160
Compared to the cost of Porcelain, we think this is great value.
Smile Design Options
Some considerations
Highly Crooked Teeth
If the teeth are very crooked indeed, then veneers will only improve things by 50%. In these cases, we can blend teeth straightening treatment and complete the transformation with veneers. We have many types of teeth straightening.
High Standards of Care
Veneers are still a medical treatment, as well as a cosmetic one, and we are highly qualified with patient centred care at the heart of everything we do. You are in safe hands.
Tooth Colour
One of the advantages of a full set of veneers is that matching the existing tooth colour isn't necessary. For those patients who want the mega-wow factor and won't be satisfied with simple bleaching, veneers allow us to go 'as white as you like' of course!
We usually recommend general teeth whitening before colour matching and starting treatment.
It means that colour matching existing teeth is only an issue for smaller cases where we might be veneering 2-4 teeth and have to match them to the shade of adjacent natural teeth (which naturally we whiten first!).
How long do veneers last
Veneers only last 5-8 years before they get chipped, stained around the edges and need redoing in many cases.
These days we frequently use ultra-thin all porcelain crowns instead which are more durable and allow us greater control over the size and shape of the new teeth and a greater depth of colour for a more natural look.
Porcelain (ceramic) veneers and crowns cost the same at the moment, from £738 each.
