Knowing how to level up fast in Fortnite can help you make quick progress through the battle pass, which you'll want to do in order to collect Battle Stars and unlock all of those fancy reward items available for the season. There may not be any glitches or cheat codes you can use in Fortnite to suddenly rocket up through the levels, but there are a number of legitimate methods you can follow to make sure you're earning the maximum XP in the shortest time possible. If you're ready to scale the heights of the battle pass and rack up those rewards, then here's everything you need to know about how to level up fast in Fortnite.

Level up fast in Fortnite use Creative mode to farm free XP

Amazingly, you get free XP just for spending time in Creative mode, and this is one of the best methods for how to level up fast in Fortnite as you don't actually have to do anything to earn it. For every 15 minutes you spend in that mode you'll receive a Creative Playtime reward, which is currently 25,200 XP, and you can collect up to five of these bonuses every day – resetting at the same time as the Daily Punchcard. All you need to do is enter Creative mode, stand in the lobby and watch as the timer ticks down from 3:55 to 3:40, 3:25, 3:10, 2:55, and 2:40, after which you should have received enough XP to level up a couple of times, then come back the next day and do it again.

Tick off those Characters Punchcards and earn rewards

Unlike the old days when a new set of challenges was handed out each week, there's now a whole set of Punchcards for the different Fortnite characters available straight away. Each of these Punchcards relate to a set of five Fortnite quests, and the first time you complete a task to fill in the card you'll receive a sizeable XP boost. Initially completing a Punchcard earned you 80,000 XP, but that has recently been increased to 150,000 XP with the latest cards, meaning it's now possible to collect over 2,500,000 XP just by ticking off all the entries.

Complete the Daily and Weekly Punchcards as well

Alongside the character entries, there are also Daily and Weekly Punchcards with even more quests to tick off for extra XP. These are normally simple challenges such as harvesting materials, searching chests, or getting specific eliminations, with the Daily tasks changing every 24 hours but for each one you complete you'll receive 45,000 XP to provide another helpful stream for how to level up fast in Fortnite. The Weekly assignments can be a bit more involved, but offer even more XP for beating them.

The timer against the Daily and Weekly Punchcards shows when they're due to reset, so make sure you're regularly checking in and working through the tasks to make the most of these opportunities before they're gone.

Play with friends and use Party Quests

When you team up with other players in modes such as Duos, Trios, or Squads, all of your active tasks will be pooled together as Party Quests. Not only does this mean you can have significantly more quests available than the usual five you're capped at, but the progress any of you make will be applied to all of you. By working as a team you can clear a lot more quests and earn additional XP together, making it another great approach for how to level up fast in Fortnite.
